Apricot Preserve | Sweet & Tangy is a product nurtured and made with love from us.
We had a surplus harvest of apricots in our valley this year and farmers asked us for help in selling it. We sold a few hundred kilos fresh and then decided to turn some into a preserve that can be enjoyed for a long time! Creating preserves is a great way of ensuring value is added to the precious hard won harvest grown by our farmer partners and enables them to earn a higher price for their fresh fruits as there is no wastage of fruits in transportation.
This preserve is sweet. But we have used as little sugar as possible to ensure you can taste the tangy notes of the apricots for a balanced feel on your palate.
Spread on toast, eat with rotis, idli, dosa, goes with anything!
