Green Pears (Nashpati / Green Anjou) are the most commonly grown variety of pears in the upper Tons Valley, Uttarakhand. It is known for its bright green colouration. It is crisp, crunchy and mildly sweet when 90% ripe and if left to ripen fully, it is very sweet and softer with high sugar content.
