Red William Bartlett Pears are grown by some farmers in the upper Tons Valley, Uttarakhand. It is known for its bright red colouration with green blemishes. It is crisp, crunchy and very sweet when 90% ripe and if left to ripen fully, it is highly sweet. This pear is perfect also for baking at home and making pear sauce.
