Wild Amla Pickle is an Indian staple in every household! The Indian Gooseberry (Phyllanthus emblica) tree is found across the country and till mid elevations in our mountains.
Our river valleys are full of dozens of gooseberry trees and communities harvest them regularly to make dried candies, squash and pickle. Amla is primarily consumed for its extremely high content of Vitamin C.
Our pickle is prepared using a traditional mountain recipe using a unique mix of spices.

Amla in Tons Valley:
We have chosen village clusters to sustainably harvest Amla. We use a very tiny number of trees in each village every year so that there is no undue pressure on the environment as a lot of wild fauna which also feed on these fruit.
